We’re recruiting for a BID Manager


Part time role, initially 15 hours a week on a flexible basis

£39,000 pro rata, with incentives

A fixed term contract until 31 October 2017

BID Clifton Village is recruiting a Business Improvement District (BID) Manager to deliver a multi-project Business Plan which will provide a range of exciting projects and services to the benefit of over 300 businesses within the Village. 

The post will be demanding but varied, it is a new and exciting role and is not a job for the fainthearted. It is expected that some events and meetings will require attendance out of standard office hours.

Key to your success will be your ability to involve local people and companies at every level, and your talent for inspiring and motivating others. Working for BID Clifton Village you will be responsible for ensuring we offer high quality services and exciting events, promote local businesses, improve commercial viability and increase footfall.

This high profile and challenging post will suit someone with a real passion for making things happen, developing, juggling and delivering a variety of projects & services, successfully managing budgets, maintaining effective relationships and making sure that successes are widely promoted and understood. A high level of communication, tact and diplomacy skills are required along with project management expertise. Experience in marketing and promotional activities will be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new potential partners and securing additional funding to further enhance the BID’s activities.
